- 1908 REPLICA BEAR This replica bear from 1908 commemorates the 100th anniversary of the first "talking" bear i.e. the first growler. To mark the event a new "super-growler" will be introduced, lasting about twice as long as most. Blond, jointed and with boot button eyes, this will be available in an edition of 1908 from February 2008. |
This smaller version of the replica bear from 1908 pays tribute to the 100 years of the growler. Each bear has a rust red silk bow tie bearing the years 1908 and 2008. In three colours of gold, golden brown and sand, each in an edition of 3000 worldwide. |

ON WHEELS 1909 This reproduction from a 1909 pull-along animal is made with mohair, stuffed with wood shavings and has a pull-voice that is faithfull to the original. Limited edition of 1000. |
MOLLY
1927 10 cm In the 1920's Steiff produced almost as many dogs as bears and this one from 1927 was so popular it was still being made into the 1950's. With glass eyes, blue silk ribbon and golden bell it is limited to 1500 pieces worldwide. |
BEAR
WITH "RACKERPLAN" Limited to 2007 pieces worldwide this classic bear is made from mohair and carries a model of a "goldfish" plane of 1928. The original model plane was designed by Richard Steiff but never went into production. The second in a series of aviator teds paying tribute to the enthusiasm for flying of Richard.
