Steven is a completely self taught artist. He was born in Colne, East Lancashire in 1955. He did not begin painting until the age of 27, but is now regarded as one of the country's leading animal and bird painters. His dog prints have a huge following and many command a premium on the secondary market. He has created many stunning images of Big Game and British birds and has recently added land and seascapes to his portfolio. Steven has a strong Christian belief; many customers are unaware that hidden in each and every picture are the initials JTC (Jesus The Creator). These initials are so well hidden that they can take many hours of fun or frustration to find.
