From her Warwickshire studio Jenny Worral creatyes a unique range of glass table lamps. After careful blowing of the shape it is then transformed into a distinctive lamp using the Victorian technique of potichomania. Intricate cut-out decoupage images are applied to the inside surface of the glass, followed by a range of decorative paint finishes. Many designs are based on the archives of the Victoria and Albert Museum and the Royal Horticultural Society while many others take their inspiration from the world of natural history. |
