Moorcroft's newest member of the Design Studio has created swirling mushrooms on a rich landscape. ISLE ROYALE The image on the left does not do justice to this superb 16 inch vase from Anji Davenport. After reading about how this pack crossed the frozen Lake Superior to become established there in the 1940'a, Anji was inspired to create this piece for the 2003 catalogue portraying grey wolves in a snow clad fir forest. YUKON WILDERNESS The Yukon is a vast tract of remote wilderness in Canada of mountains, rivers, tundra and thick forests. Here some 17000 bears roam free and in September visit the Teslin River to catch spawning salmon. Sian Leeper has captured this scene "in the round" on her 16 inch vase on the 18 shape. Bright autumn leaves and succulent blackberries set the scene for this family of bears. PRICE: £3325 |

THE CARAVAN This stunning 16 inch piece on the 65 shape is named after one of the most beautiful hotels in the world. The Caravan is to be found in Isfahan, in central Iran. Surrounded by beautiful gardens the hotel is decorated with the most magnificent artwork in glass, silk, and gold. TAPESTRY OF TIME This was the prestige piece from the "Impressions of a Decade" collection that celebrated ten years of the Moorcroft Design Studio. At 18 inches tall on the celebrated 159 shape Rachel Bishop has used a deep maroon ground to set off the images of time - butterflies, flowers, grapes all woven together into a seamless tapestry. This was a numbered edition signed on the base by Rachel. PRICE: £2425 |

OWLPEN
For this special edition to commemorate
her ten years as a Moorcroft designer, Rachel Bishop wandered through
the 16th and 17th century formal gardens of Owlpen Manor for her inspiration.
This Tudor house is set in a remote and picturesque wooded valley in the
Cotswolds and its seven hanging terraces have topiary yews, box parterres,
old roses and a mill pond. A superb piece, standing 20 inches tall and
with an edition size of just 100. |
