Dog racing has grown in popularity and all walks of life can now be found "at the dogs". It may only take 30 seconds for the dogs to complete the 500 metre race. Greyhounds wear muzzles because, although very laid back and gentle, they chase by sight and may become jealous if another dog reaches the quarry first.

After haymaking there was always a little hay left over in the meadows. Not wanting to waste this, the farmer gathered it up using a horse-drawn rake, a process known as 'clean raking'.
